The Evening

An Invitation to Intrigue

Dress Code

Black tie and 1920s attire required. Think flapper dresses, feathered headbands, tuxedos, and spats. The more glamorous, the better — you are a suspect, after all.

What to Expect

Hors d'oeuvre's, dinner, and cocktails served amid the drama. Each guest will receive a secret character dossier prior to your arrival. Over the course of the evening, clues will be revealed, alliances will be tested, and one among you will be unmasked as the killer.

The Rules of the Evening

  1. 1Stay in character at all times — your alibi depends on it.
  2. 2Gather clues discreetly. Trust no one.
  3. 3Submit your accusation before the final course is served.
  4. 4The truth will be revealed by nights end.

The Suspects

Who Among You Is Guilty?

Every guest plays a role. Every role hides a secret.

Hal Sapone

The infamous South Side crime boss and bootlegger. He built his empire on whiskey and silence — and he'll do anything to protect it.

Kara Low

The Grand Gatsby's beloved nightclub singer. An angel by a piano — but cross her, and she turns into a bearcat.

Beanie O'Dannon

Ruthless leader of the Northern Chicago Mob. The truce with Hal Sapone won't last — and everyone knows it.

Tommy 'Four Guns' Beagle

Hal Sapone's elusive right-hand man. He rhymes about his victims before he bumps them off — so if he starts rhyming, start running.

Wyleen Black

Chicago's most scandalous tabloid reporter. She knows everyone's secrets — and uses them as currency.

Zetta Zarbo

Hollywood's most glamorous silent film star. She's no stranger to blackmailers — but is she the victim, or the villain?

Haddie Drinx

The Grand Gatsby's sharp-tongued head bartender. She mixes the drinks and overhears everything — a dangerous combination.

Harry Looper

Hal Sapone's slippery accountant. He knows where every dollar is buried — and where every body is too.

Mona Crawfish

Beanie O'Dannon's fiercely loyal lieutenant. She's survived three mob wars and has the scars to prove it.

'Handsome' Sam McWarthy

The Northern Outfit's charming fixer. He can talk his way out of anything — and into anywhere.

Chuck Limberger

A small-time fence with big-time connections. He knows who's selling what — and who's desperate enough to buy.

The Question

Will You Solve the Murder?

The night is young, the champagne is cold, and somewhere in this room — a killer walks free. Secure your place at the table before the guest list closes.

Limited seats available. Black tie required.
